Police: Alcohol may be a factor in weekend accident

TUSCALOOSA COUNTY, AL (WBRC) -

Two teenagers remain in the hospital following a weekend accident in Tuscaloosa County.

Brookwood Police say there were four people in the car and that one of them may have been ejected during the wreck.

The crash occurred around 11 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 on Camp Cherry Austin Road.

The Tuscaloosa Metro Homicide Unit was called in by Brookwood Police because they suspect alcohol may have been a factor in the accident.

One of the teens in the hospital is 19-years-old and listed in critical condition. The condition of the second teen is unknown.
