MONEY TUESDAY - Stewart Welch with the Welch Group joined us to explain a new 3.8% tax on the sale of a personal residence. So who does it affect? Not everyone... It affects single people making more than $250,000 ($500,000 for couples) on the sale of their home. There are also other taxes involved if your income falls in a certain range. JEH JEH LIVE - Check out the 2013 Sixth Ave Baptist Church Black History Program. This year's program is "The Alabama Movement," a musical dance drama reflecting on black America's experiences in Alabama during a time when Jim Crow laws restricted the privileges of African Americans through segregation and injustice. The program starts at 7p.m. Saturday and at 5p.m. Sunday. It is free and open to the public. The performances are at 7pm on Saturday, February 23rd and at 5pm on Sunday, February 24th at the church located at 1101 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
