Paul Daymond with the Federal Bureau of Investigation says the robbery happened around 10:25 a.m. Tarrant Police officers responded to the scene to investigate. They released a surveillance photo of the suspect this afternoon.
The suspect is described as a white male in his late 40's to 50's wearing a red and black flannel shirt and a black toboggan. He was carrying a red soft-sided zippered cooler with him. Daymond says he did not have a weapon and his direction of travel is not known.
Tarrant Police say two witnesses describe the suspect's vehicle as an older model, 1983-1985, gold or beige four-door Chrysler-made vehicle. The witnesses said it had a vinyl top that appeared to be coming off the vehicle in several places. One witness described it as a smaller Dodge and the other said it was a Chrysler New Yorker.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Detective Phillip George at the Tarrant Police Department at 205-849-2811.
