Several Birmingham restaurant owners are celebrating national recognition today.
The James Beard Foundation released its list of award semi-finalists. Once again, Highlands Bar and Grill in the city's Southside is in the running for outstanding restaurant.

James Lewis from Bettola, which is located at Pepper Place is in the running for the best chef in the south.
