Western Supermarkets donates $11K to Jimmie Hale

Western Supermarkets and shoppers are making another huge donation to those in need.

This year, Western donated $11,470 to the Jimmie Hale Mission. That's about $6,000 meals for the homeless. Western has hosted the Scan-a-meal campaign since 2001. Shoppers donate $1.95, which equals one meal.

Tony Cooper, with Jimmie Hale Mission, accepted the check from Western Tuesday morning.
