TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) -

It wasn't a record-breaker, but University of Alabama students finally pulled off their Harlem Shake video.

The students successfully filmed their video two days after campus officers shut down the first attempt because the group didn't have a permit. The students were hoping to create the biggest Harlem Shake video in the SEC.

Wednesday, they got everything in order and about 50 people showed up in front of the Rec Center to be filmed. Several students dressed up in costume with props ranging from fake swords to hats and umbrellas.

The Harlem Shake is a cross between a flash mob, a dance craze and a viral video set to the beats of a New York DJ.
