The
suspect is identified as Charles Earl Calloway, a 5'10", 175 pound
white male with gray hair and gray and white facial hair. Police believe
he may have shaved off his facial hair since the time of the robbery.
The robbery happened around 10:25 a.m. at the Regions Bank on Pinson Street. Surveillance video shows the suspect carrying a red cooler and wearing a red and white checkered flannel shirt. The FBI said the suspect did not produce a weapon during the robbery.
Calloway was living in the Tarrant area but police believe he is now hiding, possibly in Blount County, Det. Sgt. Phillip George, Jr. said.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office has a first degree robbery warrant out for Calloway's arrest. Anyone with info on Calloway's location is asked to call Tarrant Police Detective Phillip George at 205-849-2811.
