Seafood combination for four
1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon basil
a little pepper - to tast
1/2 (16 ounce) package uncooked spaghetti
1/2 pound shrimp
1/2 pound scallops
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1. Heat 2 teaspoons olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat and cook the garlic and basil until tender.
2. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Place spaghetti in the pot, cook 8 to 10 minutes until al dente, and drain.
3. Place the clams in the olive oil and garlic and cook until opened. Add the scallops and cook until opaque. Season with a little salt and pepper. Stir in the sauce. Simmer until well heated. Serve sauce with seafood over the cooked spaghetti and top with Parmesan cheese.
