Here is what you saw on Good Day Alabama for February 28, 2013:

JEH JEH LIVE - Jeh Jeh joined us this morning to celebrate Black History Month with the Alabama School of Fine Arts Choir! The ASFA Choir is made up of 70 members which includes the entire Music Department.  It ranges grades 7-12.  Though students audition into ASFA on a particular instrument, we believe singing is fundamental to musicianship, so everyone sings in the choir.  The makeup, therefore, includes vocalists, pianists, strings players, brass, woodwinds, percussion and guitar.  We meet three times weekly for about 50 minutes.  The choir has sung to critical acclaim for national judges and has performed in clinics with choral directors/clinicians from New York, Tennessee, Texas, Georgia, Washington State and Mississippi.

DR. ASA - Dr. Asa joined us this morning with some advice on grocery shopping Post-Good Day Challenge.  Known as America's Health and Lifestyle Coach®, Asa Andrew, MD is a national best-selling author, radio and TV host, and founder of Diagnosis HOPE, a non-profit dedicated to health education and supporting the uninsured. He has dedicated his life to helping others thrive in their health.

Cornerstone School's Junior Board will host the event on Friday, March 8th, 2013 at B & A Warehouse from 7:00 pm-11:00 pm. Presented by Barber Companies, C.S. Beatty Construction, Maynard, Cooper, & Gale, P.C., and Strickland Trading, Inc., Schoolhouse Rock is an annual fundraiser hosted by Cornerstone Schools of Alabama's Junior Board. Over the years, the event has grown to raise over $100,000 for Cornerstone's students each year.  Cornerstone Schools of Alabama, a non-profit Christian school located in Birmingham's Woodlawn area, is a preschool, elementary, and middle school dedicated to serving Birmingham's inner city kids. Now serving a record-breaking 271 students, the dually accredited school is currently in its third year of candidacy for becoming the first International Baccalaureate Primary School in Birmingham, with hopes to complete the process this spring. Event-goers can look forward to a night of live music by Teenage Daddy and the John Williams Jazz Trio, live and silent auctions, beverages and hors d'oeuvres, and event give-aways.
