CHEF CLAYTON SHERROD'S BOURBON GLAZED SALMON
3 Tblsp brown sugar
3 Tblsp bourbon
2 Tblsp soy sauce
1 Tblsp grated fresh ginger
1 Tblsp fresh lime juice
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 Tsp ground black pepper
4 Salmon Fillets
3 Tblsp olive oil
1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions
1 Tblsp sesame seeds, toasted
Combine the first 7 ingredients in a large zip-lock bag Add salmon fillets and seal.
Marinate in refrigerator for 1 hour
Heat a large skillet with the olive oil over medium heat.
Add the fish and to glaze the top. Turn over and add the marinade to the pan. Cook for about 4 minutes until fish flakes easily when tested or until desired doneness.
Place fish on serving platter, drizzle the sauce over the fish and serve with smashed potatoes, grilled tomatoes and green beans.
Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
