Retirement reception to be held for Ted Sexton

TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) -

The public is invited to say farewell to Tuscaloosa's Sheriff Ted Sexton this week.

A retirement reception for Sexton will be held at the sheriff's office hangar in the Tuscaloosa Airport from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 13.

Sheriff Sexton announced last week he is leaving Alabama to take a job with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office in California.
