Honda is recalling more than 180,000 vehicles in the United States and nearly 250,000 worldwide because of a brake problem.
A glitch in the vehicles' electronic stability control system could cause the cars to brake randomly when the driver isn't pressing the brake pedal.
The U.S. recall involves the following models:
2005 Honda Pilot SUV
2005 Acura RL Sedan
2006 Acura MDX SUV
Owners will be notified by mail in mid-April.
Honda dealers will install a new electrical part at no charge.
