BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - FBI officials say a man wanted for murder in Virginia has been arrested in Huntsville.
FBI Spokesman Paul Daymond says 23-year-old Kelvin Kennedy Parker was found hiding under the stairs at a house in Huntsville Thursday morning and was taken into custody without incident. Details on how authorities learned Parker was in Alabama were not immediately available.
Parker, of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., was wanted in a fatal early November shooting in southern Virginia.
Daymond says Parker will make an initial appearance before a United States Magistrate judge and will be held by U.S. Marshals in Huntsville until he's extradited to Virginia.
