
The robbery allegedly took place on Gable Drive in the Pinson area. Source: WBRC videoA concerned citizen helped Jefferson County deputies catch two crooks moments after they allegedly robbed a house.
The caller told deputies that he saw two black males go behind a home on Gable Drive and then heard glass breaking. While deputies were en route the caller also told them that the suspects left in a white vehicle.
Deputies spotted a vehicle matching the description traveling away from the scene and stopped it at Matt Aaron Lane off of Sweeny Hollow Road. Inside, deputies found Bimarcus Hodge and Demarcus Tremble along with a flat screen TV that was determined to have been stolen from the Gable Drive house.
Deputies found a broken window in the back of the house and the victim identified the TV as hers. No other property was taken.
Hodge and Tremble were charged with third degree burglary and theft of property. They have been booked into the Jefferson County Jail.
