Woman killed in Shelby County accident

SHELBY COUNTY, AL (WBRC) -

State troopers say a Birmingham woman was killed in a wreck on 119 in Shelby County on Friday morning.

The victim is identified as 46-year-old Tracy M. Owens. Troopers say she was driving a 1999 Toyota Solara that wrecked with a 2012 Toyota Highlander about two miles south of Hoover on 119.

Troopers say the wreck happened around 11:40 a.m. Friday, March 15.

Two men inside the Highlander were both injured and taken to UAB for treatement. There is no update on their condition.
