Three dead in two separate crashes in Walker County

Three people died in two separate car crashes this morning in Walker County.

State troopers said both crashes occurred in the Saragossa area around 8:30 a.m. Monday. The first crash happened on Scott Cemetary Lane where one vehicle left the road and struck a tree. The driver was killed.

The second crash happened on Alabama Highway 69. Two vehicles collided, killing both drivers. A passenger in one of the vehicles was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
