SPRING BREAK AT THE BEACH - It is Spring Break for many Alabama students and teachers. Janice talked with Shaul Zislin - owner of "The Hangout" in Gulf Shores. They discussed the tourism and popularity of Alabama's Gulf Coast this year. They also discuss the annual Hangout Music Festival which is May 17-19th this year. COLORECTAL CANCER - Mike talked with Dr. Kenneth M. Sigman, a Gastroenterologist with Birmingham Gastroenterology Associates at Trinity Medical Center. He discussed Colorectal Cancer and the importance of getting screened with a Colonoscopy as this is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Dr. Sigman explained the colonoscopy process and assures us it is not as frightening as many people think. The hope is to prevent colon cancer by encouraging screening. There will be a call-in phone bank at tonight at FOX6 from 5-6:30 pm. Physicians will be taking calls on colorectal cancer and screening colonoscopy.
