Deputies respond to burglary in progress on Morgan Road

Jefferson County deputies responded to a burglary in progress at a home on Morgan Road Wednesday morning.

Chief Deputy Randy Christian said the situation began at 10:20 a.m. when an official with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office saw two men run behind a house in the 3300 block of Morgan Road.

Christian said the situation is still developing. He did not release any other information about the case, but said the sheriff's office will update as more details become available.
