Birmingham firefighters are putting out a blaze near the popular Dreamland BBQ restaurant.
Crews are dealing with lots of smoke from a house fire in the 1400 block of 15th Street South, one block south of Dreamland BBQ.
The fire began in the home's basement. The house is apparently a rental property and was vacant at the time the fire started.
The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
