Jefferson County road officials are continuing to monitor weather conditions. Jefferson County work crews are prepared to moved if storm debris removal is needed.
The county recently approved $50,000 to help with debris removal from the latest storm and there will be some money to cover overtime costs if it's needed with this latest storm.
"We are monitoring the storm at the present time with our association with EMA and staying prepared if strong storms happen. We are pretty much on standby at this point in time," Wayne Sullivan, Director of Roads and Transportation said.
Sullivan said the county will do what it can to help with storm cleanup given its financial crunch.
