Barons win first homestand, fans want shorter lines

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

The Barons are undefeated at their new home, Regions Field in downtown Birmingham.  On Sunday, they defeated the Mississippi Braves.

In the first inning, the Barons ran an amazing 11 runs with a final score of 13 to 2.  The Barons are on the road and return home Saturday to take on Huntsville.

So now the Birmingham Barons have now officially finished their first homestand at the new Regions Field. So how do fans feel about the experience? Did they love it or could there be room for improvement?

The majority of the people we polled, unofficially, were pleased with the overall experience, but with any new venture, there is always room for improvement. The length of the concession stand lines is a big concern. On opening night, fans say lines were extremely long, and some vendors even ran out of some items.
