An employee of Selma High School has been arrested by Selma Police on multiple charges involving minors.
On Friday, April 19, at 2:45 p.m. Selma Police went to Selma High School and arrested Ms. Latengela Williams for the following charges:
Possession of Obscene Matter Containing Visual Depiction of Persons under 17 Years of Age Involved in Obscene Acts – class B Felony
Electronic Solicitation of a Child – class B Felony
Enticing a Minor for Immoral Purposes – class B Felony
School Employee having Sexual Contact with a Student – class A Misdemeanor
Williams' total Bond was $1,006,000 The arrest is the result of a several month investigation and the incident under investigation involved students.
At a court hearing on Tuesday, April 23, Williams' bond was lowered to $100,000. She agreed to the court's terms that she must live with her parents, Williams is not allowed on school property or to attend any school functions. She is to have no contact with the alleged victims or their families and she cannot organize or lead any activities involving children.
