A local group of elementary students are doing what they can to help honor and remember the victims.
Jennifer Kuklinski teaches 2nd grade at Green Valley Elementary in Hoover. Shortly after the bombing, she wanted to honor one of the victims, 8-year-old Martin Richard.
In honor of Richard, the students created what they're calling "Boston bracelets." They are woven blue and yellow yarn and are being sold for one dollar to classmates and teachers.
The money will then be donated to Children's Hospital in honor of the victims. The money could stay local, but there has also been some talk about sending the money to the children's hospital in Boston.
