This is an easy but also a delicious recipe as well as very healthy.
Greek yogurt (sakoulas) with Alabama honey makes this
irresistibly a summer delight. Greek yogurt has a very thick
and creamy texture, similar to sour cream.
In Greece, the yogurt is made with either sheep or cow's milk.
Sakoulas, means the yogurt is made in a strained cloth
so to separate the whey and liquids from the milky solids.
1lb Greek strained yogurt
½ lb crushed walnuts
½ cup pure (prefer bee) honey
4 tsp ground cinnamon
4 slices of very cold orange
In a bowl mix 5 soup spoons of yogurt with honey. Mix well.
Empty the mix in a serving plate and sprinkle a handful of
the crushed walnuts over it. Drizzle honey and some
more walnuts over the yogurt. Sprinkle some cinnamon over the yogurt.
Take one of the orange slices and cut in four pieces.
Place around the yogurt mound and serve.
Do the same for the remaining yogurt.
