OUR HOUSE - Brian Harrison from Marvin's joined us with some pointers for getting those grills cleaned up and in tip top shape for your grilling season! Prevention is the number one tip.  Invest in a good quality grill cover.  Heat from use and exposure to the elements all cause the metal skin to break down and the paint coating to fail. Second tip - before starting to work on your grill, turn off the gas, and cover your work area with newspaper, and wear gloves and eye protection.  It's a messy job, and as you are scraping off metal flakes, you definitely want to protect your hands and eyes.

IDOL WITH MAGIC
- Mike and Janice talked with Rob and Jeannine with Magic 96.5 about American Idol. The top 4 performed last night for your votes. Each contestant sang two songs - one from 2013 and one "standard." And Harry Connick, Jr. acted as a mentor to the ladies this week. Tune in tonight at 7pm to find out who heads home.

This event offers the perfect opportunity to help the homeless, abused, neglected and abandoned animals of Shelby County while enjoying a night of drinks, dinner and friendly bidding. This year's Bark and Wine, hosted by Shelby Humane Society's Board of Directors, will feature silent and live auctions of fabulous goods, services and trips donated by generous SHS supporters.
