From graduations to festivals, farmers markets to citywide celebrations, several events are planned this weekend in central Alabama.

Despite a wet forecast, many of the outdoor activities are still happening "rain or shine," but the weather has put a damper on a couple of events. The University of Montevallo will hold its May graduation indoors and the city of Hoover has decided to move back its Celebrate Hoover Day a few hours due to expected rainfall.
