Due to bad weather, the annual Prattville Cityfest did open an hour late, but participants say at least they enjoyed a cool breeze as the experienced music, arts, crafts and good food.
Prattville Mayor, Bill Gillespie, said the bad weather did scare officials, but everything turned out just fine.
"The sun came out and the wind has died down; so I think everything is moving into the right direction for a successful event as best as we can (have) here in the south during this time of year." Gillespie said.
The festival wrapped up around 5 PM this afternoon.
