MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Montgomery Police have identified a man wanted for questioning in connection with one of Montgomery's five unsolved homicides from 2013. After seeing himself on TV, the man turned himself in.

Central Alabama CrimeStoppers asked for help to locate 25-year-old Harvey Johnson.

Johnson was wanted in connection with a second degree theft of property warrant. He was also wanted for questioning in connection with the capital murder of 39-year-old Cherokee Johnson back on January 8.

Cherokee Johnson's body was found shot to death in the roadway near the 2700 block of Foshee Road back on January 9, 2013. His death was listed as Montgomery's fourth homicide of 2013.

MPD detectives previously advised CrimeStoppers that in a previous conversation with Johnson, he refused to turn himself in.

Police now say Johnson surrendered to authorities after seeing himself on TV.
