Birmingham police are investigating the shooting deaths of 17-year-old twins Jonathan and Jeremie Berry.
Both brothers were found shot to death Friday night around 11:30 p.m at 736 Attalla Street in Wylam. The twins' mother was also wounded.
Investigators say three male suspects forced their way into the residence just before the mother arrived home. As the mother drove up to the house, the suspects fired at her vehicle wounding her, causing her to crash into a neighbors yard.
The suspects then shot the twin brothers before leaving. The mother was transported to UAB Hospital and is expected to recover.
Investigators do not believe the shootings were random. Police are looking for cooperation from the victim's family and the public to move the investigation forward.
A vigil for the twin brothers was held Sunday afternoon at Believers Temple Church in Wylam.
