Enterprise Police say the man who tried to steal a car left running in front of a business with a child inside has been captured in Florida.
Police say they've identified Dennis Wilson Finley Jr., as the man wanted in connection with a Monday night car theft.
Enterprise Police were called to a business on College Street shortly after 5:30 p.m. on Monday on a call for theft of a vehicle by force.
When authorities arrived on the scene, the victim told police that she had gone inside the business and left her vehicle running - her 10-year-old son was still inside.
After entering the store she saw what appeared to be a while male in his 40's get into the driver's seat of her vehicle. She ran outside to get her son out of the car - that's when the suspect brandished a knife.
The victim was able to get her son out of the vehicle before the suspect took off with her car.
Enterprise Police located the vehicle several minutes later, however the suspect had already fled the area.
Finley was captured in Gadsden County, Florida on Thursday, July 7.
