Police: Shooting victim drove to DCH for treatment

TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) -

Tuscaloosa authorities have blocked off the ER entrance of DCH after a shooting victim drove there for treatment.

Police have not released many details but have confirmed the shooting happened Monday evening in the 1600 block of 43rd Court. They say two groups of people exchanged gunfire. Two people were shot. One person was transported to DCH where they passed away and the second victim was the person who drove to the hospital for treatment.
