TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) -

Police have arrested a man in connection to a double shooting last night in Tuscaloosa.

Investigators say it happened on 43rd Court around 8:15 p.m. after a drug transaction went wrong.

A 20-year-old man named Jerry Kyandre Little was killed in the shooting.

Police charged Jeffery Dwayne Jackson, 34, with murder. He showed up at DCH in Tuscaloosa around the same time as Little, the man he's accused of shooting.

Jackson was driven to the hospital to be treated for a gunshot wound. Little was taken by ambulance to the emergency room, but died from a gun shot to the stomach.

Police say several people were involved, but only Jackson and Little were wounded.

Jackson was booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail on a $75,000 bond.
