TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) -

While Tuscaloosa Police search for a man who robbed a store with a boxcutter, the store clerk injured in the crime is asking for the public's help.

The unidentified man stabbed Amrin Ghanen several times in his arms, stomach, back and hand as he robbed the Family Variety Store in July.

Ghanen has been back on the job for a week but the mental and physical scars he suffered from his attacker haven't all healed.

Ghanen says he wants the robber behind bars so he can't hurt anyone else. He says he doesn't understand why no one has told police who the suspect is. Security cameras caught him walking into the store without even wearing a mask.

If you recognize the suspect, you are urged to call Tuscaloosa Police at 205-752-7867.
