BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

To mark Birmingham's 50th Anniversary of the Civil Rights Movement, kids from around the state are going to be planting trees across Birmingham.

All 50 of the trees are currently being housed at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, which grew them from seeds.

They are donating all of the trees, which will be planted September 11, 2013.
