BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

A Sylacauga man is accused of impersonating a hospital employee to try and get prescription drugs.

Police say 25-year-old Kevin Davis pretended to work at Citizens Baptist Medical Center when he called a Talladega drug store. They say he asked for 20 hydrocodone pills.

The pharmacist checked the prescription, but a doctor denied authorizing it. He was then arrested at the pharmacy for possession of a controlled substance.
