Third man indicted in murder of Anniston National Guard member

ANNISTON, AL (WBRC) -

A third man has been indicted in connection to the murder of an Alabama National Guard seargeant.

Kenyata Burton is being held in the Calhoun County Jail on a $100,000 bond.

Burton is accused in the shooting death of Dequirea Royal, who was found dead in her Anniston apartment in April 2012. Royal was a sergeant in the Alabama National Guard's 167th Forward Support Company in Oxford.

Two other suspects were arrested much earlier inthe case. After Burton's arrest, investigators said they do not expect any further arrests.
