All seven of the people involved in an incident in the Magnolia Shores neighborhood of Crenshaw County Thursday have been arrested and charged with 3rd degree criminal trespassing.
One of the seven is an adult and is still in custody. The other six are juveniles and were released to their guardians.
The Crenshaw County Sheriff's office told WSFA 12 News that around 9:00 AM a neighbor called after noticing cars parked behind an abandoned house in the Magnolia Shores neighborhood. When deputies arrived, seven people ran away from the scene.
Four of the seven were apprehended immediately and three were released. Three others fled in the wooded area nearby, and were later apprehended.
The incident caused officials to place Highland Home School on lock down for about 45 minutes.
