ST. CLAIR COUNTY, AL (WBRC) -

Funeral arrangements have been announced for an Ashville teenager killed in a wreck with a school bus last week.

Ashley Marie Cartier, 17, was on her way to school on Friday morning when she crashed into the back of a school bus that was stopped to pick up its first rider.

Ashley was a member of the Ashville High School band and dance team and had her uniforms in her car for the first game of the season.

Visitation for Ashley will be held Tuesday night from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Brown Service Funeral Home in Bessemer.

Her funeral will be Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. and she will be buried in the Cool Springs Baptist Church cemetery.
