TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) -

The skeletal remains found last weekend in Tuscaloosa are confirmed to belong to missing man Antonio Lashawn Williams.

Williams, 30, was last seen around 11 p.m. on July 17. A suspect, Alexius Foster, has been charged in connection to Williams' disappearance and death.

Sgt. Dale Phillips with the Tuscaloosa Metro Homicide Unit said Williams was killed on July 17.

Hunters found Williams' remains in an area off of Joe Mallisham Parkway on Saturday. On Thursday, Sgt. Phillips said an autopsy confirmed the remains belonged to Williams.
