TASTE - The Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) will present the 5th Annual TASTE, Trussville's Art Show and Tasting Event, on Thursday, September 19, from 5 to 9 p.m., at the Trussville Civic Center. TASTE features food samples from area restaurants and bakeries, a live art show with art available for purchase, live entertainment by Mark Dunn, and a cash bar. This year's event will feature live art by artist Joy Varnell. Live art painted in real time will add a dramatic and engaging dimension to the event. The work of art keeps great memories alive for years to come. Come to TASTE and watch Joy's amazing talent at work!A portion of the proceeds will help to fund the Chamber's scholarship fund. The Chamber now funds four $1,000 renewable scholarships for up to four years for area high school and home-schooled seniors. Advance tickets for TASTE are $20 and are available at the chamber office (225 Parkway Drive) and at other Trussville locations. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door for $30.
