Peanut butter fudge brownies

Brownies

1 cup chocolate chips

1 cup unsalted butter

5 each large eggs

2 ¼ cups granulated sugar

½ teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour

Peanut butter swirl (cream all ingredients together)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

½ cup confectioners' sugar

¾ cup smooth peanut butter

¼ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Method:

  1. Melt chocolate chips with the butter over a double boiler.
  2. Whip together the eggs, sugar, and salt (more whipping will result in a cake like brownie).
  3. Stir in the vanilla and flour.
  4. Spread into a parchment lined pan and bake for 40 minutes at 325 (until the center is set.
