Police have released new information about two men they believe tried to carjack a 91-year-old Northport woman.
We spoke exclusively last week with that 91-year-old great grandmother who says she's thankful she made it out alive. Now we're getting a look at whom police say may have tried carjacking this lady.
Louise Roberts says she got the shock of her life a couple of weeks ago when investigators say someone tried carjacking her in this Wal-Mart parking lot in Northport in the middle of the afternoon.
She says that person got in the front seat with her and said, "if you don't move over, you're going to die."
The suspect said that three times. Roberts says the would-be robber brushed up against her and she believes he had a gun in his pocket. But this great grandmother held on to her keys and didn't move an inch.
She says she then yelled help at the top of her lungs and that's when the suspect ran away.
"That's all I knew to do was just scream and hold my keys with my left hand and I'm not left handed but I held on to my keys and I think that's all that saved me really," Roberts said.
Police have released surveillance photos of the men they believe are responsible for the crime.
Roberts calls the suspects cowards and hopes they are behind bars very soon. If you have any information please call Tuscaloosa County Crime Stoppers.
