Center Point firefighters are going pink for the month of October.
It's part of their efforts to raise awareness about breast cancer.
The department has a specially designed logo on the "Pink Ribbon Project" shirts.
The Center Point Fire Department has been doing this for several years now.
One Battalion Chief we spoke with says this is just one way to show support for breast cancer survivors.
"We're out saving lives, fighting fires," said battalion Chief Lonnie West. "Our support, and getting (out) in the community, and helping (with) what we can do, that's very humbling."
In all, about two dozen fire departments are sporting the special breast cancer awareness t-shirts.
They're also for sale, to raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama.
