TUSCALOOSA COUNTY, AL (WBRC) -

One person was ejected from a vehicle that flipped on I-59 NB in Tuscaloosa County Friday afternoon.

State troopers say the person was alert and talking after being ejected from a car in a single-vehicle crash on I-59 NB at mile marker 97. The person was taken to UAB for treatment.

The wreck shut down all lanes of the interstate for over an hour.

State troopers say all lanes are now open and traffic is beginning to improve.
