BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

The trial of a man accused of killing a Birmingham police officer has been rescheduled.

Adam Bradford was scheduled to stand trial Thursday for the death of officer Joseph Daniels. Daniels was off duty when he was killed in 2002 trying to stop a restaurant robbery on Graymont Avenue.

Police arrested Bradford in 2012. His trial has been rescheduled for Jan. 27, 2014.
