TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) -

The city of Tuscaloosa is gearing up for its second annual Holidays on the River featuring an ice rink with a slide and a winter village.  

The event kicks off on Saturday, November 23 and runs through Sunday, January 5 at the Mildred Westervelt Warner Transportation Museum on Jack Warner Parkway.

The museum is also featuring "Expeditions to the North Pole." The exhibition will showcase the modes of transportation to complete the journey to the North Pole.

General admission tickets, which include skate rental, are $12 for ages 2-12 and $15 for adults. You can also purchase an all-inclusive ticket package for $20. That includes museum admission, skating on the ice rink, and an ice slide.
