Hundreds of leaders are in Dothan for the "Preview of U.S.-China Manufacturing Symposium Special Preview" Monday.
The event is billed as a way to work on
relationships with Chinese companies and bring jobs to the states. It's being held at the Dothan Opera House.
Speakers at the event include local officials as well as U.S. Under-Secretary of Trade at the Dept. of Commerce, Francisco Sánchez; Chinese expert, Sidney Rittenberg; and Secretary General of China International Chamber of Commerce, Shunjie Lin.
There are more than 400 American and Chinese attendants at the symposium.
