Steak Pizzaiola

Walter Caron of Nino's Italian's Steak Pizzaiola for Four

Ingredients:

2 1/2 lbs of Steak
2 tsp Salt
Black Pepper to taste
2 tbls Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tsp Oregano
1 20 oz of Diced Tomatoes in Juice
8 oz each of Mushrooms, Peppers and Onions

Directions:

Ina large skillet put 2 oz of the olive oil and braise steak on both sides.  Season steak with oregano, salt, pepper while cooking.  Add pepper, onions and mushrooms and the tomatoes and juice.  Cover and cook steak until desired tenderness.  Server over spaghetti.
