A trial date is now set in the property seizure case against Victoryland, the Macon County gaming facility that was raided by the State of Alabama in February 2013.
The raid resulted in the seizure of money and hundreds of gaming machines that the Attorney General's office contends are part of illegal gambling operations.
Judge William Shashy set a non-jury trial date for June 3, 2014 at the Montgomery County Courthouse.
Shashy will preside over the case since all qualified judges in Macon County recused themselves.
Representatives of Victoryland say the machines that were seized are not illegal.
Victoryland, at one time Macon County's largest employer, remains closed.
