A man wanted by the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office has been caught after 23 years on the run.
In 1990, Jeffrey Martin was arrested and charged with 1st degree robbery in Montgomery. He made bond and disappeared, according to a news release from the U.S. Marshal Service.
Authorities say Martin was able to elude capture over the next 23 years by constantly moving across the country.
Martin has been profiled on Crime Stoppers and one of numerous tips led authorities to Virginia.
Martin was arrested in Norfolk, VA, without incident Thursday morning. He is awaiting extradition back to Alabama.
